Verse 1
What can we say in this town of ghosts?
The lights they burned out so long ago
When they turned off the heat we lit the coal
When they turned off the power we lived by candle glow
When do you decide it’s over?
When do you decide it’s time to go?
Chorus
Walk away, let the darkness take this place
There's no guilt
Abandon hope, it led us astray
Verse 2
Roads aren't closed but there's nowhere to go
Living here has made me old
Dawn came and went, but nothing rose
All traces soak into the dusty earth
We gave away control, was it worth it
There was a battle cry, but we forgot the words
Chorus
Walk away, let the darkness take this place
There's no guilt
Abandon hope, it led us astray

I'm not a huge fan of ska. Tend to prefer my music with a much harder edge, but this album has been getting played non-stop. KInda remind of the Dance Hall Crashers. Easily one of the best albums I've heard in 2021 to date. Bart
