Verse 1 A Shutzstaffel of privilege for the digital age Ingrained for generations To serve and protect our original sin Some hide in plain sight in pale armor Some hide in blue lights and Kevlar Two shades of color, two brands of justice Chorus Tears bring only canisters to fill our eyes again His breath drew only emptiness An innocent lost life reflected In the kaleidoscope of shattered glass Remove the knee pressed to the neck for eight and forty-six Verse 2 Black and blue in the face of a tragedy, a travesty (A travesty) A tree and noose behind the badge A sheep’s disguise, followed happily We were blind to the struggle of ages Our eyes open, we fight what they trained us United colors, united resistance Chorus Tears bring only canisters to fill our eyes again Our breaths bring only noxious gas A million lost lives are reflected In the kaleidoscope of shattered glass Remove the knee pressed to the neck for 400 years Bridge Don't start no shit (Won’t be no shit) Don't wrestle the pig cause the pig lives for it Don't start no shit (Won’t be no shit) They enforce a code but don’t follow it Don't start no shit (Won’t be no shit) They chose their color, but you exist in it Don't start no shit (Won’t be no shit) We formed this hell. You’re living through it Chorus Tears bring only canisters to burn our eyes again (Say their names) Our breaths bring only noxious gas A million lost lives are reflected (take back) (these streets) In the kaleidoscope of shattered glass (we keep)(us safe) (See a new way) A choking world resists arrest

Nada me interesa. Nada me interesa. Hoy me desperté. Y en la ventana esa nube gris. (Translation) I woke up today and I saw gray cloud through the window. Another morning begins again. my mind drowned in loneliness. I'm still trapped in the darkness of my soul, so many problem that I have lost my calm. I keep falling into the abyss and looking for a way to escape from this reality, wounds that make me bleed. I want to scape from darkness. Prechorus Today I want to escape and scream that life it's a party. I want to escape because today I care about nothing. Today I want to toast Today I want to scream Today I want to escape from this reality. Today I want to toast Today I want to dance Today I want to escape from this reality. A toast to life. This is the way it is. Life is not always perfect, it shouldn't be perfect. I discovered that today. There is nothing left but to dance under the storm. A hug to continue with this party, behind that smile there's pain hiding and the Truth is the key to happiness and to free your soul. today I want to escape and scream that life it's a party I want to escape because today I care about nothing. I woke up today and I saw gray cloud through the window.

Only looking for attention, not some Grand invention new style in this music scene, it's obscene.

about

Courtesy of Tim and Meskales have been loosely planning this release since 2017 when they played their first show together. It took a pandemic, but they finally worked out the details and booked the studio, getting everything recorded toward the end of 2020. This release sees them each contributing an original song that deals with a heavy topic, structural racism and police brutality or mental health, which has been amplified by the pandemic, as well as a cover of one of each other's songs in the tradition of '90s punk split records.
